Harry Potter and the Curse of Christmas

Well  it is certainly nice to see you all again. Yes, Yes i know it has been a while, but let me say there has been, dare I say, a plethora of things going on in the mixed and muttled life of this muggle.

This Christmas season has allowed me to be in contact with more people. Which in turn has, you guest it, caused my gears to grind. Now I don't want to come off as a scrooge in this wonderful time of year, but folks if one more person tells me to keep Christ in Christmas, or scolds me for replacing Christ with an "X" when I spell Christmas, I am going to loose my mind. For those who are reading this and are completely disgusted with me right now, please take the time to research the word "Christmas" and what the "X" means in "Xmas". Come on folks, get off your soap box, there many other more important things we can focus or time and effort than taking a stand on something like the use of the word "Xmas".

Well now that we have gotten that out of the way, lets move on to some more important matters.

For the last time I do not care about Harry Potter parodies on Youtube. Yes, I know, its hilarious and I have to see it, but here's the thing. Lean in close. You ready? I. DO. NOT. WATCH. HAROLD. POTTER!!!
Stop sending me facebook messages with Harry Potter puppet shows, rap parodies, quitage highlight reels, or even a picture of the line in front of the movie theater of the premiere of the latest movie. Your Harry Potter video is no funnier than the last 27 snip its that I had to suffer from because "its hilarious".

Well I feel better, I hope you do as well. I hope that you enjoy reading this blog. If you were offended by anything in this blog, i'm sorry, it was not my intention, but may i suggest that we all step back and not take ourselves so seriously. Learn to laugh people.

As I leave you for the rest of the year, I would like to say that I hope your Christmas is full of family, friends, and most importantly laughter. Have fun. Oh, and please have a very happy X-mas. Night everybody.

Oh and P.S. look out for my next blog in January called "Confusion in the Restaurant: A Same Side Story."

Grinding My Gears Vol. 2

Ok here we go again. I know its been a while since the first entry but I'm back and more ticked off than ever at this main stream action and vocabulary called "the world I live in".

Recently I have become increasingly agitated with the Spanish language. Shut up, I am not being racist or anything like that. My problem comes with non Spanish people that speak Spanish. I mean think about it. How many times do you go to a Mexican restaurant to enjoy a nice meal, only to be pestered by someone saying, "YO Tango oon boritto." My God are you serious. Obviously your not Spanish. Obviously you live on the out skirts of suburbia. Just because you have done construction with a Spanish speaking person does not give you the right to ruin everybodys meal at Mi Rancho sir. I am sure that you think you are impressing someone with your nonsense but the fact is you are ruining my day.

On to the next one,

Ok i know this might be over done, but people who talk in text message language, your days are numbered my friends. The thoughts that go through my brain when someone says, "lols" or "BTW", are nothing short of a Saw movie. I should punch you in the face.

So there it is, things that Grind My Gears. Trust me these are not all of them. I would say "just the tip of the iceberg" but then I would hate myself all day, and defriend myself on Facebook. Anyway, its good to be back. I hope that something i write can do nothing short of saving you from the little things that are slowly eating away at our humanity's ozone layer

P.S. I don't care if i misspelled, or didn't capitalize something.

First of many, certainly not the last.

Well hello ladies and gentleman, and welcome to the world of things that suck.

If you are bothered by the day to day things that seem to drive our society, then this is the blog for you.
I am completely aware that i shouldn't let things bother me, but the fact is, i don't have the ability to just let it go. Now, I'm not talking about politics or money or P.E.T.A. or natural disasters or anything really serious for that matter. Those things never bother me because, for the most part, I have just excepted the fact that most people are just dumb, and when dumb people handle serious situations, you have to be willing to accept some collateral damage.

I am bothered by the more serious things in life. Like reality Tv shows, professional wrestling, traveling evangelists, people that say ASAP, people that say 10-4, people that wear Fedoras, you see where I'm going with this. While all these things are my best friends, they are also my worst enemies.

So, what's this blog all about? The little things in life that make it worth complaining about. Is this serious? Yes. But also so No. Do I misspell or forget to capitalize? yes. Will none of this make since, and probably contradict itself? sometimes and absolutely.

So with all that being said, take my hand and lets begin this adventure of sarcasm and satire together.
